Pool Family Genealogy Forum

The Jamestown Historical Society or some similar name has pretty fair detail of the Pool family there. "Robert Pool the Enterpreter", came about 1611 with his father and brother. Both father and brother were killed in the 1622 massacre. Robert married a Native as did a son (or more) and grandson (maybe). Robert was granted 300 acres of Mulberry Island where Fort Eustis exist today(documented). Not many known children or grandchildren, but I suspect there were more. I am very suspicious that the offspring migrated to Maryland and North Carolina because not many Pools are known(key word) to have migrated from Europe to America from 1607-1700. I hope this helps.
