I'm starting to think the "e" in Poole is not significant in America as it was in England. Could have been Pooll or a Pool signature with a little flair. None the less, on the "surname list" click "Poole", then "John Sr. b.1632". Follow the tree to "William". I'm not standing behind the validity of this guy's work, but it appears he has a lot of documented actions on William Jr. Again, John Sr.b.1632 in Elizabeth City,Va. was more probable than not the son of Robert Pool the interpreter and his unnamed Native wife from Jamestown, who later was granted 300 acres of Mulberry Island in Elizabeth City, Va.
Let me know if you get it or not.
Good Hunting, BPoole
