the Poole /Pool line I'm researching has a number of Middleton Poole's which makes me think our lines may connect.
Our line comes out of Elizabeth City county Va , then parts spread to the Wake / Johnston City NC... my own line goes briefly back to Va then on to NC and SC. Branches of this line ended up in a lot of diverse places - Ark, GA, KY,SC, TN, etc. We have partial data back to the 1600's- but we have a large number of "gaps" and "branches" we need to figure out.

There are about 20 genetically distinct lines of "Pool / Poole"--if you have any DNA results on your line we could tell instantly if we're looking for the same Poole connections ... our line has a very rare haplogroup "G1. We are totally distinct from both the Pettipoole line (which all have the same haplogroup) and the various other Poole/Poole lines.

please let me know if you are interested in exchanging information
