Hi, I've just discovered that I'm related to Henry H. Poorman, b. in PA about 1818, married to Marsha J. of PA, and moved to Cass County, MI by 1860. He had a host of kids, the first being born in PA (Annie W. in 1856) and the next in MI (Lucy in 1860). They had one son, William W., born in 1867, who married Dora M. William and Dora had at least one son, George E., born JUL 1892, who went to live with an "uncle" (John Wilcox) by the 1910 census.
George E. had one son with Winnie Tippie in 1914, but then left and I have NO IDEA what happened to him.
Does anyone know this line at all? I think Henry probably had several family members who moved out at the same time, as the 1870 census lists quite a few Poormans in Cass County who look like they could be related (they're all from PA, for example).
