Unfortunately we haven't been able to discover who Daniel's parents are. We know he was born about 1809 and that he lived in Centre County and Clarion County. He married an Ellen Poorman and had 5 children: Alfred, Amanda, Rebecca, Mary and George P., my husband's grandfather. Ellen died at some point after 1855. Daniel served in the Civil War and his name was changed to Servey at some point, as he is buried as Servey. Alfred, however, is buried as Sarvey. Daniel later remarried and is buried near Clarion, Clarion Co., PA. Alfred is buried in a cemetery across the gully from Daniel. We believe they are father and son. I would be interested in sharing information about your Daniel Sarvey.
