I'm unsure of Jacob N Lord's parentage, but suggest that you pursue the William Lord of St. Paul's Parish, Colleton Dist., SC that married Sarah Minus and had 4 sons all born before 1790. One of the sons was named Jacob Lord. He would have been the right age to be your Jacob N Lord and he livied a stone's throw from Charleston. Sarah's father was Jacob Minus (died 1792). She married a Postell after William Lord's death.
