This is a rather far fetched thought, but my Ancestor, Annanias Poplin born 1824, in North Carolina, had a son named JeHu or Jay Hugh... born 1870. A lot of times, a son was named after an uncle, or other relative. Is there by chance an Annanias Poplin in the family there? Of course Jehu was not uncommon during this time frame. Annanias came to North Arkansas by October 1846, because he married in Lawrence Co, AR then.... any information would be appreciated. Joyce Lantz Havner
