Here is my line: Any help on Paul or his parents would be most helpful and apprecited.

Child of GEORGE POPPELL and SUSANNAH is:
. PAUL2 POPPELL, b. 1835; d. Abt. 1860, Probably in the Civil War.

Generation No. 2

PAUL POPPELL, son of GEORGE & Suzannah?) was born 1835, and died Abt. 1860 in Probably in the Civil War. He married NANCY STRICKLAND. She was born 1835.

Notes for PAUL POPPELL:
When Paul died, his Wife Nancy brought their four children to live with Paul's parents.

Children of PAUL POPPELL and NANCY STRICKLAND are:
ANNIE C.POPPELL, b. June 13, 1855, Wayne County; d. November 14, 1926, Chauncey Cemetery in Appling County.
MARY E. POPPELL.
JAMES W. POPPELL, b. December 1858.
ISABELLE POPPELL.

ANNIE C. POPPELL was my great grandmother. She was born June 13, 1855 in Wayne County, and died November 14, 1926 in Chauncey Cemetery in Appling County. She married MATTHEW MCDANIEL "MACK" THORNTON August 30, 1870 in Wayne County, son of WILLIAM THORNTON and NANCY MOODY. He was born March 1850, and died February 12, 1910 in Chauncey Cemetery in Appling County.

Any help would be much appreciated!
