I am searching for information in the Heckmondwike area of West Yorkshire. I cannot find the birth of William Popplewell, I know his father was named Thomas. William was 39 when he married Margaret Bruce aged 21 at Batley church 17-1-1784. Most of their children were baptised at Old Chapel Independent Heckmondwike. Any information would be helpfull, Thanks Val.
