Looking for information about Jane McVean wife of John Joseph Henry Popplewell. I have a birth at abt 1867 in Glengarry, her father is Archibald McVean and mother is Marjory McDonald. I require full names of all these people with birth dates and death dates and where they are burried. I believe Jane McVean and John Joseph Henry Popplewell married 26 Mar 1890 in Carleton, Ontario. Looking for names of their children with birth dates and anything eles that can be found on them. It is believed that Jane (McVean)Popplewell stayed behind in Ottawa, it is believed that she rand a B&B and John came west abt 1907 with his two sons, Henry and Jack, (don't have full names and dates)they worked there way across Canada to BC. His daughter, Margaret came west to live with her father in abt 1911, leaving her mother behind in Ottawa. I want to know how she (Jane) made out living by herself all those years. Did John and Jane ever divorce and did she ever marry again? FYI-I have more information on the family members as they grew out west in BC. linpop@telus.net
