Re: Isaac Popllewell Adair KY.
Am of Hack, Isaac, Simco Line. Am daughter of author of book, Popplewells are Coming, Doris B. Smith. Do not have book, but MO crowd does, as does LDS Family History Center. Perhaps your answer is there? hope so. If I remember correctly Issac was quite the long-lived character, complete with very very long white beard. Only 1 wife???
Meanwhile need to know if this line runs to Lincolshire, Eng. (ca. 17th century) and to a William Popplewell. --family story goes that Eng. ancestor left when king wanted his land for park; he came to VA. Again story goes was booted from House of Burgesses and landed in KY, thence to MO. Am going to L. archives in Oct. and if can verify Eng.connection will happily share any info found.
Thanks,
Marilyn Chang
