I have a Benjamin Popplewell who was the Father of Elizabeth who married my direct ancestor Stephenson Pollard around the 1860's / 70's in Otley, West Yorkshire.

It appears the Yorkshire Popplewells named their first born sons Benjamin for some reason which is making it very hard to trace which one is which.

This is as far back as I have got with my family tree, and if anyone has any information on Elizabeth, then it would be appreciated.
