PORTEUS - Jarrow - South Shields - Durham

Hi I'm stuck!

We have a definite link to William (1849) and John (1835) with a possible father of William (Ouseburn, Northumberland) and Margaret (1811, Willington Luay)

The correct spelling is PORTEUS although one census does have the 'O' in.

This also links into the unusual AMBROSE COE PORTEUS sone of WILLAM and MARY CRAWLEY...you never know some search engine might save that one.

HELP !
