My connections are in the counties of Columbia, Jackson, Oglethorpe, Elbert, Madison, and Carroll. The surnames are White, Gilbert, Moon, David, Hall, and Meade/Mead. I have information from an unknown source stating that Patience and Dicy Hall, daughters of Jeremiah Hall and his wife Nancy of Madison County Georgia, and sisters to my 3rd g-grandmother Elizabeth, were married to Porterfields. Patience to Horatio and Dicy to Edmund. The Dicy married to Edward that died in Texas is a generation later than Jeremiah's Dicy. Is it possible that the Hall sisters were married to these two Porterfields, or is this information wrong? I saw marriage records, but don't remember the dates.

Dianne, I also have information to share with you on Elizabeth Hall, oldest known daughter of Jeremiah. Also a question or two. Please contact me offline if you would like this info. Thanks!

Pat
