Hi Tom,
I would appreciate any help with this family.I have been looking for info on Ida...thought i had her, but now looks as if it's the wrong Ida.You wouldn't think there would be that many would you?If we knew where they met/married it might help.Do you think his dad married them?Of course the uncles were ministers also.
Do you know where Milon was in 1920? Ida and David were living with his parents.Did he serve a stint in the military?Or did he serve a stint in the Salvation Army as his dad and uncles did?I have a photo of them in their Salvation Army uniforms and holding their instruments.They were quite a talented family.I don't have many photos but will be glad to copy those i have if you would like them.I have one half of a photo taken on the day of Samuel Berry Porterfield's funeral.Someday i hope i can find someone who has the other half,or an entire copy. Carmen
