Mildred Shiveley Porterfield,b.1908,wife of Edward Porterfield, Lafayette Co, MO

I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of “Jake and Julia Shiveley and daughter Mildred, who married Porterfield”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photo was taken in Pleasant Hill (Cass Co.) MO, and the parents look to be in their mid 20s, while daughter Mildred is about age 4.

I found Jacob W. Shiveley and his family in the 1900, 1910 and 1930 censuses. In 1900, Jacob (born Aug 1869) and Julia E. Shiveley (born Jan 1877) lived in St. Derom (Nernaha Co.) NE. In 1910 Lafayette Co., MO census is shown Jacob W. (39) and Julia F. (32) living with son George H. (13), John M. (8) and Mildred M. (1 yr., 7 mo on 7 Apr 1910, so she was born Sept 1908). Missouri Marriage Records show Mildred Shiveley married 25 Dec 1930 to Edward E. Porterfield Jr. in Lafayette Co.

Get back to me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to this family.
