As you have an interest in the Portsmouth family, the following is copy of e.mail I have to to about 15 people whose e address I have, wondering if you would be interested in joining in.

" Dear All,
As I have now made contact with 21 people, in connection with my research into my direct ancestors, I wondered if it may now be time to bring together all the parts of the family that I have established contact with over the last 2 1/2 years.
As these contacts are scattered all around the U K , in Eire, and British Columbia, suggestions as to a possible location for such a meeting would be welcomed, an I will try and co-ordinate everything from here

I look forward to your responses".

So far I have received four replies all positive, but early days yet.

Any one else who is researching the Portsmouth surname is also welcome to join in, if interested.
