Our Portsmouth family has now been developed back into one William Portsmouth & wife Margaret who had 5 children in Dawley Magna between 1816 & 1828, There are indications of earlier Portsmouth families settling in Shropshire, but no links have been established as yet.
The next generation of our family are to be found mainly in Dudley, Worcestershire, before some migrated into Yorkshire.
Would love to here from you if any of this sounds familiar.
