Kim, I have a Potier g-g-grand father he was born in the town of Nadon, France on the lst day of Oct. 1796 he left there until the 1st day of June 1847 to which he came to the U. S. A. by way of New Orleans, he then came to Perry County Tennessee, and became a citizen of the US in Sept of 1850, was not in Perry County in 1860 but was in Mo and the best I can find out he was buried there, his widow went up the river so a town (which I cannot remember at this time) and died there. I would like to know who his parents are and all about him but, so far this is all I can tell you about him. He may or may not fit with you Potier's just a grasp in the dark. mg
