Potterfields in Maryland

I am a descendant of Adam Potterfield. Adam came from York County Pa in to Loudoun County Va 1771 with his family. He later moved on the Maryland and Bedford County Pa.
The Family name was Battenfeld. The County clerk phonetically anglicized it when he came to Loudoun. Adams descendents can be found in Va, SC, MD, Fla, Ga, WVa, Ala, and I believe Mo.
