Hello Terry,
Thanks for answering my message.Richard Albert Pottorff was my husband's great grandfather.I believe the LDS and Richard and Reinhard are one and same. They misspelled the names alot especially in the census. Some files I have found have Preston as Richard's father and some have Silas Preston as father.Richard A. was married to Emma Louise Bolwar,he died 1930,she 1931.The obituary has her being born in 1850 in Clark County,Ky,moving to Iowa with her parents when she was 1 year old.She was the eldest of 8 children one being a half sister Mrs.Lucy O'Neal of Covington,Indiana.I knew there was 8 years difference between the birth and marriage but thought it could be a mistake. With the half sister assumed that John or Sarah had been married before.Where did you get the information there were two Sarah's?I had talked to a cousin in Pulaski,Iowa that confirmed that John was married to Sarah Aldridge, nothing about a first wife.Which does make sense with the 8 yrs difference. My information came from the obituary on both Pottorff and Bolwar.I would appreciate any information that you have on the Bolwar's.Please email me direct if you would like, thank you,
Judy M.
