I noted your query about Henry Pottorff. He and Martin Pottorf are both listed in Mt. Pleasant Township, Adams County PA in 1799 Assessments and 1800 Census. My husband Richard descends from Martin, who was the son of Hermanus and Maria Barbara Anspach Batdorff of Berks County PA. Martin had a brother, John Henry, who also went to Adams County. However, my information shows that he married Elizabeth Taney. It would also appear that your Henry also had a daughter Sarah who is buried with John and Barbara McIntire, as is also Mary McIntire. Mary's dates are 1839-1915, so she probably was a daughter of John and Barbara. We have seen these tombstones at The Pines Church Cemetery at New Oxford PA. Does any of this fit in with what you have?
