My ancestor, Zechariah Poulson was born in Copenhagen and came to Philadelphia in 1749. He had a son, Zechariah, Jr. born 1760 in Philadelphia, who owned a newspaper in the city until the early 1800s. We have more down the line, but yes, many Poulsons came from Denmark.
