I wish I could be more help. I have a copy of Poulson's Ledger from Philly in the mid 1800's. I think it goes back to Zachariah. My grandmother told me that her grandfather (Charles Poulson) had an English accent. I can't find any info on his dad, whom we think was form England. Her grandfather, also Charles Poulson (her dad was Charles Edward, and her grandfather had no middle name that we've found) He was a cop in Philly when he was in his 20's. Before that there is no record. We think he had a brother, John, but I'm not sure. He was born in 1863 and died in 1926. If I come across any info, I'll let you know. What I do know is that there is alot of Poulson's in Chelten Hills Cemetary, up in North Philly. My chunk is like in the one corner that I know of. Hope this helps
