I am also trying to trace the Poulsons in the UK. All I know so far is that my GGF Thomas Poulson left Portsmouth Uk on SS "Omega" on 29 May 1852 and arrived South Australia on 24 August 1862. He married Margaret Gibson on 13 November 1852.

Two of his grandsons George Alexander and Thomas Arthur died in WW1; their efforts are recognised on a wall in Edinburgh Castle.

His occupation was listed as Agricultural Labourer and most of his male children had occupations like Bootmaker, Greengrocer or Shopkeeper.

Any help would be a great assistance

Lance Poulson
