Not sure if you're still looking for information. I wasn't sure which man you were researching. I have info on both. They were ancestors of mine. I have some old documents on them somewhere in storage. Charles A. Poulson's "A." stands for Angue. He is related to John Angue of Philadelphia, who was a distiller on Elfreth's Alley in Phila. No. 135, I believe. He has a descendant (grandson?) named John Angue Poulson, who was educated at Chester Academy in Chester, PA, around the years of 1892. Unfortunately, I only have pieces of info I haven't put together. I believe my uncle still has a family painting of Charles Poulson done by Charles Wilson Peale. A family ring shows a coat of arms bearing a picture of a beaver and the latin phrase "Vincit qui se Vincit". Hope this is of help and interest to someone.
