Poulsons of Virginia: With a start in 1670, is there a possibility that they originated in New Sweden, (Wilmington), DE as descendants of Pal Jonsson Malich. I have suspected such and am trying to prove that the line in Accomac Cty, and the town of Poulson did come south from DE. I am researching my MD line via Anders Palsson/ "Andrew Poulson als Mullock Swead" who are direct line from Pal Jonsson Malich and the related Mullicas of NJ. Pal Jonsson with his family arrived in Fort Christina/Wilmington in 1654. Is he a connection? I'm unaware of any other Poulson line that early.
