Looking for ANY info on John POULTON or POWLTON who was a shoemaker (clogger) born in 1853 in Lancaster, Lancashire. He married Emily Ball in 1901 and took in her illegitimate son, Arthur Beckett Ball, when Arthur was 10 years old.
Have found them in the 1901 census living at 11 Adelphi St., Lancaster.
Any and all info greatly appreciated.
