Hello. I recently started work on my family tree. I think I can lay claim to the William Cox you refer to. He and Charlotte had three children: Mary Ann, William and Edwin. Edwin became a silversmith and left Birmingham to live in Marylebone, London. In 1857 he married Louisa Moon, who came from Melbourne, Derbyshire. They had three children: Jane, Louisa and Edward. The family eventually returned to Birmingham. His son Edward was my grandfather.
