For a while, I thought my Poulton links had come from Wombourne, but it seems not. However, I did spend quite a bit of time in the County Record Office and do have quite a number of family members from that area - including one Samuel Poulton, born ca 1786 (one of 8 children toEdward Poulton and Mary Dean). If this is of interest, I can provide more information.
