Poulton - Rotherham/Greasbrough Yorks
Posted by: Timothy Linnell (ID *****3368) Date: September 09, 2002 at 23:26:42

Looking for information on the following group of Poultons from Rotherham:

John Poulton b c1857 Stafford = Harriet b c 1860

Children Annie, Hannah, Harriet, Lairnia, (poss Mary), James

All living in Greasbrough at the time of the 1901 census, where John was an iron worker, and James worked as a colliery surface worker.

Anyone have any links into (or descended from) this group? Specific interest is into Harriet's maternal line (Mary Ann Middleton, whom I believe may have been nee Norton).

Any help gratefully received

Tim Linnell
