Hello: My name is Joyce Ward. I am researching my husband's genealogy and I have come across his gggrandfather and ggrandmother. They are John W. Ward and Matilda Caroline Pouncey. They married on January 10, 1858 in Montgomery County, Alabama. Matilda's father and mother were Daniel N. Pouncey and Nancy Cleghorn/Claghorn. Matilda was born in September, 1837 in Lowndes County. Is my Daniel N. Pouncey the same as your Daniel N. Pouncey? Let me know soon, okay. Thanks!
