Hello Pounc(e)ys, having a surname like this will always make the search for family history much easier! I came across a Charles Pouncy in America recently, he is a lawyer in one of the Universities - when I emailed him, it turned out he was African-American but had traced roots back to England; this was most unexpected (and quite embarrassing), he believed that his ancestors' owners were originally English. This was quite an eye-opener. It's great to chat with other Pouncy's across the world - I'm interested to know where most of you guys are from! All the best - Aaron Pouncy (London, UK)
