My husband's aunt had researched the family in the early eighties and I was relying on her research. But after reading the board I see that it is not a simple trail to the ancestery of the Pouncey family. She had not even mentioned a Samuel Pouncey. So I have no proof that Charles Nathaniel was fathered by James Nathaniel, other than the aunt shows Anthony's children as William, Henry Anthony, Thomas and James Nathaniel. I realize that a true Pouncey researcher would have more in depth proof so I defer to your research.
