Seeking information on Katie Cannon. Her granddaughter believes her maiden name was O'Pouncey and that she was originally from Ireland. I am trying to help the granddaughter but to date have had no luck on this part of the family. Since there is quite a number of Pouncey families in Alabama I thought I would try this forum to see if my suspicions that Katie's name was Katie O. Pouncey rather than Katie O'Pouncey. Katie married Lee Cannon and had at least one son Clovis Ray Cannon. Katie was born in 1885 and died in 1978 in Bay Minette AL. If anyone has a Katie in their family which matches this information I would appreciate hearing from them. Thank you in advance.
