Bill, I was talking with a lady today who knows the location of Mary (Polly) Pouncey Jones' gravesite at the Scott Burying Ground next to Oakwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL She says that the marker is virtually gone. Do you have a date for her death? I may see if it is feasible to try to place a small marker there. Anybody want to help me do this? It seems a shame to allow the site to be lost to history. She was the first white person buried in "The Old Graveyard". Mamie Sellers
