I am interested in a Jeffrey Pouncey [looks like it is written Jefey Powncy] who is in Dale County Alabama 1830 census, and lived next to Seaburn Ledbetter and Rebecca Dick, and near John O'Neal's family. Household has the following: 1 male (5-10); 2 males (20-30); 1 female (<5); 1 female (40-50). I have no known connection to the Pouncy family, but am trying to account for the two males (20-30) in the household. Were there any Pouncy connections in the early 1800s to the CARTER family either in Dale County or other GA, SC or NC settlements? Trying to place the migration of Wesley D. Carter (b. betw. 1804-1812 in SC) to Dale Co. AL from SC. He married Rachel O'Neal by 1834. There are no other Carters nearby. Thanks to all.
