Hi, tracing the HASSKEW family that migrated (we are trying to prove) from Marlboro Co., SC to Dallas Co, AL to Gonzales Co, TX 1820's-1840's. Our HASSKEWs were neighbors with an Anthony POUNCEY in Colleton District, SC....

--"plat p284. 25 MAR 1802 Anthony POUNCEY’s plat for 49.5 acres on White Oak Bay of Buckhead Creek, Colleton District (which was the Charleston area) has a border to Moses HASSKEW’s land. Record Group 9. Record Series 8, volume/box/roll 36, page 284, item #2" -- South Carolina

....as well as in Marlboro Co./Cheraws District, SC....and there is a John B. POUNCEY living as a neighbor to Moses HASSKEW in Dallas Co., AL @1834.

This group of people may have also travelled with the CARGILL / CORGILL & BRANTLEY families.

Hoping to hit a connection by family association....

thanks for the read,

Andrea W.
