Yeah, more POUNDER researchers!! I am researching my grandfather Edwin (more details in my previous post). He came to Canada in 1927 and until recently I believed that he had no relatives in Canada. However, I recently received the ship's manifest for his trip to Canada and he indicated that he was destined for his brother Harry's house in Oshawa, Ontario.
I believe that previously, Edwin and his brother and perhaps more of his family came to Canada in 1911/1912. Edwin returned to England in 1915, but Harry stayed.
I have been in touch with many Pounders but none seem to be related. There seem to be alot of them in the Ottawa/Renfrew area in the 1800's.

I'll look through my other Ontario info and see what I can find.
