thanks Ian. My information about Thomas Pounder and Ann Harrison was sketchy and at least partly reliant on a very worn gravestone in the sandbanks cemetry in Hartlepool. You've left me wanting to check a couple of things. I'm sure we have the connection right. Two of their great grandchildren were called Eden Pounder, both died in infancy.

I don't have anymore direct Harrison info on my tree but I do have a copy of a book that lists a lot of harrisons. This is 'The history of the Tees Pilots'. If you don't have access to this I can pass the info on.
It also includes lots of Pounders.

I can tell you that the Harrison descendents - though not called Harrison are also in Spain and Zimbabwe as well as throughout the Uk.
