Isabella Pounder

I have just commenced tracing our family tree here in Victoria Australia and I am interested to know whether anyone researching the Pounders has come across Isabella who was known to reside in Scruton Yorkshire in 1829.

The only information I have is from the Australian marriage certificate of my great-great grandfather, Ralph Longtoft (born in Scruton, Yorkshire in 1829), where Isabella Longtoft (nee Pounder) is recorded as his mother.

Isabella's husband Matthew Longtoft is listed in the Baines Directory of 1823 as a Draper in the Scruton Professions and Trade Listing.

Another family member has established that their son Ralph settled in the Meredith district of Victoria, after coming out on the Marco Polo in 1855. Any clues on the Pounder maternal line would be gratefully received. Thanks in anticipation.
