I happened to be looking at the posts and came upon some possibilities for my research of my African-American ancestor.Possibly my ggggrandfather was at one time sold from a James Boon to a Jean Pourciau in Point Coupee,La. The year was 1808 my ggggrandfather's name was:"Henry" Would anyone have any info on this possibility? I'd be greatly appreciative to anyone that could help me out.
