There was some pretty lively bidding last Saturday at the Rexall Drug Store, when the first auction sale of premiums given by merchants in the Red Arrow Sale was held. The premiums were sold at auction to the highest bidders, and brought a total of $l,448.75 in coupons. A plow sold to J.P. SMITH for $375.25, a lady's hand bag to MISS LENORE CLEMENSEN for $206.00, a traveling bag to FLOYD POUSH for $200.00, a suit case to DALE BUELL for $200.00, a silk skirt to MISS HELEN VAN WERDEN for $l5l.00 and an ivory clock to R.R. WILCOX for $l55.00. A number of other small articles were sold. A second auction sale will be held next month.
