I am descended from a Powis group that settled in Seneca Falls, NY and Pike, NY in the mid 1800s. I believe that the original emigrant from Wales was a Henry Powis, who married Caroline Letitia Schuyler c. 1836. I would be eager to help fill in any blanks I can as I assume that all Powis folk came from a certain section of Wales.

Thank you,

Kirk Powis Neff
