Looking for info on Catherine Powis who married Alexander Selkrig on 4 July 1782 at the parish of St. Matthew Bethnal Green London. They were married by Licence vs Banns. Same parish register has entry for a daughter born 23 May 1783 to this couple. This couple came to Shelburne Nova Scotia in 1784 and had another daughter Isabella Selkrig born 1787 in Shelburne. Very much would like to hear from anyone with info on this family. Need info on parents and sibs of Catherine Powis.
