In a listing of English Estates & Wills of Canterbury, I found notice of the will of my ancestor's first wife, Rachel Pheasant Bartlett who died in 1798 in Maryland, listed with her address as "formerly of Powis Place, Great Ormond Street, St. George the Martyr, Middlesex..."
Does anyone know if Powis Place might have been a house? I'm interested in finding ancestors of both Rachel and her husband, John Bartlett. Thanks.
