It would seem that your Pownall family and the one I know connect. I have done extensive research on the Graybill family. Solomon Graybill married Evelina Pownall who was born in Hampshire Co., Va. the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Arnold Pownall. The were married in Allen County, Ohio and later moved to Fulton Col, Ind. I would really like to exchange and compare info.
