You have the correct parents for Betty. I have 5 children in all to that couple.

Powrie is an old Gaelic placename meaning "pasturage", and we and the castles (north Pourie and South Powrie) were named for the place. Our family never owned it but our famous fiddler, Ian Powrie came close to purchasing.

Betty's brother Andrew helped build the ship Discovery in Dundee harbour. they had a huge family!
