Everything I've found on the owners of South Powrie and North Pourie. Of course the sassines and files of photos at the RCAHMS. I've got tons on both castles, but all we have in common is we Powries and the castles are named for the old Gaelic placename which means "pasturage".We were likely shepherds on one or the estates.
