Poyners in UK

Hello Kate, My name is David Poyner and I live in Birmingham, England. My family are from Gloucestershire, and I know at least a couple of links go into Wales.
Cardiff, Brecon, and Monmouthshire often crop up in census accounts. Ewart John Preston Poyner's birth was registared during the march quarter for 1910 for Newport Monmouthshire. I have copied down every birth from the GRO lists for the spelling Poyner 1837 until 1936. from a quick look at these records Ewart's father may have been Arthur William P. Poyner b1888 brother John Henry (1891) married Eva Padfield, sister Agnes L. (1893) and Frank Tom (1894) married Catherine Cordier. These are the first Newport, Monmouthshire entries. I am sure after much research you have already found this. I am at the moment missing a few family members and being close to gloucestershire it is possible your family came from there. If Ewarts father is one the 3 males above a common father will become known, then it's the 1881 census next. I am doing a Poyner family tree, and for the last 12 years Gloucester records office has been visited many times.
If I can help let me know,
Best Wishes,
Dave Poyner.
